🎯 Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
📚 Educational Qualification
- Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute (Regular Full Time Course only).
- Minimum marks: 60% for General (UR), OBC (NCL), EWS; 55% for SC/ST (no rounding off, 59.99% not eligible).
- Candidates must have passed the final semester examination before the cut-off date (implied as the application closing date). Final year students whose results are not declared by the cut-off date are not eligible.
- CGPA/GPA/CPI etc. must be converted to percentage using the official University/Institute conversion formula. Certificate must be uploaded.

💵 Pay Scale & Training Period
Selected candidates will be placed as Management Trainee in E-1 Grade (Pay scale ₹60,000 – 1,80,000). During the 1-year training period, the initial basic pay is ₹60,000 per month. On successful completion, confirmation as Officer (Mining) in E-1 Grade.
Besides basic pay, allowances include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), perquisites under cafeteria approach, and Performance Related Pay (PRP).

Service Bond: Appointed candidates must serve for a minimum of 60 months (5 years). A bond of ₹3 Lakhs + GST is executed, and ₹5,000 per month is deducted from salary, refunded without interest after completing 5 years.

🔍 Selection Process
Selection is based purely on GATE-2025 Score. No separate CBT or Interview.
- Only candidates who have qualified GATE-2025 in the relevant paper (Mining Engineering, Code: MN) and whose names appear in the list shared by IIT Roorkee are eligible. GATE scores of any other year are not valid.
- Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise in a 1:3 ratio based on GATE-2025 marks/score.
- In case of a tie in GATE score, the candidate with higher percentage marks in the qualifying degree will be ranked higher. If the tie persists, the older candidate (by age) will be placed higher.
- The final merit list is drawn solely on the GATE-2025 scores.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) and Initial Medical Examination (IME). Final appointment is subject to successful completion of DV & IME.

An OTP will be sent to your mobile/email for verification. After successful registration, you will receive a User ID (Application Sequence Number) and Password on your registered email and mobile (overseas candidates receive on email only).
- Login: Use the credentials to login. You can save your application and continue later by clicking "Save and Next".
- Fill Application Sections: Complete Personal Details, Communication Details, Qualification Details (enter GATE-2025 Registration Number and Score), and other required information.
- Upload Documents: Prepare scanned copies as per the specifications below.
- Pay Application Fee: General/OBC/EWS candidates must pay ₹1180 (including GST) online through SBI payment gateway. SC/ST/CIL Departmental candidates are exempted.
