📜 General Instructions & Important Guidelines
- 1. Only online applications via http://jnu.ac.in/career will be accepted.
- 2. Upload photograph, certificates, marksheets, teaching/research evidence, NOC, M.Phil/Ph.D/NET certificates, publications, date of birth proof, caste certificate (if applicable).
- 3. Incomplete applications without signature/documents will be rejected summarily.
- 4. University reserves right to draw panels, conduct online/offline interviews, or not fill any post.
- 5. Late applications will not be entertained.
- 6. Qualifications subject to UGC Regulations 2018 & amendments.
- 7. Time taken for M.Phil/Ph.D. will not count as teaching experience unless acquired while on active duty with leave.
- 8. Relaxation in qualification/experience/age for reserved categories as per UGC/GoI rules.
- 9. SC/ST certificates must be in Govt. of India prescribed format.
- 10. PwD candidates must submit disability certificate in prescribed format; disabilities “likely to improve” are not eligible.
- 11. OBC candidates must produce valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate (Central list). Invalid OBC certificate leads to cancellation.
- 12. EWS candidates must produce Income & Asset certificate as per DoPT OM dated 31.01.2019. Invalid certificate leads to cancellation.
- 13. Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not entitle call for interview; University may restrict candidates based on higher qualifications/experience.
- 14. Ensure correct Advt. No., Post No., and post before applying.
- 15. Separate application form for each post.
- 16. Govt./Autonomous/PSU employees must forward application through proper channel; otherwise past service/pay protection not counted.
- 17. Upload all supporting documents; research score as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- 18. Eligibility determined based on qualifications/publications acquired till last date of application.
- 19. University may modify/withdraw any communication in case of mistake.
- 20. Fake documents or suppressed antecedents lead to termination of service.
- 21. University may alter/correct advertisement before last date – check website regularly.
- 22. Submit application along with all prescribed documents within timeline.
- 23. Undertaking against plagiarism required; plagiarism leads to cancellation.
- 24. Foreign degree equivalence to be determined by Standing Committee of JNU.
- 25. No change of post or update after submission.
- 26. Only email communication for shortlisted candidates.
- 27. Corrigendum will be posted only on university website.
- 28. Recruitment subject to clarifications from MoE/UGC.
