📌 Investigation Expert (Consultant) – Contract Basis
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in handling criminal investigation cases, intelligence work, or counter-terrorism operations.
- Eligible Retired Officers: Retired Inspectors, Dy. SP, Addl. SP, and SP (or equivalent level) from Central Police Organizations (CBI, NIA, NCB, IB, Cabinet Secretariat, NTRO, Customs, Income Tax, DRI, etc.) and State Police Forces.
- Age Limit: Below 65 years as on the date of interview.
⭐ Preference may be given to officers with experience in terror-related investigations or legal evidence appreciation.
⚙️ Nature of Duties & Responsibilities
- 📌 Consultancy and support on improving investigative skills for quality probing.
- 📌 Advice on legal appreciation of evidence, new case laws, and court judgments.
- 📌 Consultancy on intelligence collection techniques and financial transaction investigations (money laundering).
- 📌 Improving skills on CDR, IPDR analysis, and technical tools used in modern investigation.
- 📌 Management of criminal cases and drafting of legal documents.
- 📌 Assist NIA in complex investigations and provide strategic inputs.
📜 Contract Terms & Working Conditions
- ✔️ Duration: 01 year (extendable up to 5 years or maximum age of 65 years).
- ✔️ Working Hours: 09:30 AM to 06:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend duties).
- ✔️ Leave: 1.5 days per completed calendar month.
- ✔️ Allowances: No other allowances except TA/DA on official tours. Remuneration is last pay drawn minus basic pension.
- ✔️ Confidentiality: Must maintain strict confidentiality and abide by Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules.
