Academic Designation Information
Important Note: The academic designation such as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor etc. will be conferred to the candidates after joining TMC, as per the National Medical Commission norms.
All Medical Officer positions (Posts 1-9 and 11) are eligible for academic designation based on NMC norms after joining.
General Conditions & Important Information
- Age & Experience: Age and experience will be reckoned as on 02/02/2026. Experience will be reckoned post required qualifications.
- Eligibility: Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holders and foreign nationals who fulfil the conditions are eligible to apply.
- Performance Incentives: Candidates will be eligible for incentives based on individual and institutional performance.

Transfer & Rotation Policy
Rotation: Candidates appointed may be rotated in any Units of TMC (Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, ACTREC Navi Mumbai, HBCH Sangrur, HBCH&RC Mullanpur, HBCH&RC Visakhapatnam, MPMCC Varanasi, BBCI Guwahati, etc.) as per needs.
Minimum Service: Selected candidates must serve the respective location for minimum 5 years before any transfer request.
Management Rights: TMC management reserves the right to transfer any staff member as required.

Type of Recruitment: This is Direct Recruitment (not contract-based or deputation). Successful candidates will be appointed as permanent employees of TMC.
