• Pay Scale: Level 10 to Level 13 (7th CPC) – Basic pay from ₹16,400 to ₹80,930 + allowances.
• Allowances: DA (42% currently), HRA (8-24%), Transport Allowance, Medical benefits.

Type: Direct Recruitment through State Level Competitive Examination (not contract/deputation).

Selection Stages:

1. Preliminary Exam (objective, screening) – 150 marks
2. Mains Exam (2 papers, objective) – 300 marks
3. Computer Proficiency Test (qualifying) – 100 marks practical
4. Document Verification

Note: Final merit based on Mains marks; Prelims only for shortlisting. CPT is qualifying in nature.
