What is "Immediate Absorption" Basis?

This recruitment is not a fresh entry or direct recruitment for new candidates. It is specifically for experienced professionals currently working in Government/PSUs/Private Sector who wish to be absorbed immediately into NCRTC at an equivalent level.

Eligibility for Immediate Absorption:

You must currently be working in one of the following pay scales:

  • Central Government (CDA): Pay Level L10 (₹56,100-1,77,500) or L9 (₹53,100-1,67,800) or above, OR have served the last 3 years in Level L8 (₹47,600-1,51,100).
  • Public/Private Sector (IDA): Pay Scale E2 (₹50,000-1,60,000) or above, OR have served the last 3 years in Scale E1 (₹40,000-1,40,000).

Note: For equivalency, NCRTC compares the minimum basic pay of the scales.

Two-Stage Selection Process

  1. Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT): Carries 80% weightage.
  2. Interview: Carries 20% weightage.

Final Merit: Based on combined score. Minimum qualifying marks: 60%.

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:5 based on written test merit. Document verification will be done before the interview.
