💰 Salary, Promotion & Benefits

🔍 Recruitment Type & Selection Process
Type: Direct Recruitment (not contract/deputation). Central govt job.
Stages: CBE (computer based exam) → Physical Standard Test (PST) → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Medical Exam → Document Verification.
✅ No interview after CBE (only PET/PST/Medical).
📌 Force allocation: merit-cum-preference of 7 forces (BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF).
🎓 Eligibility & Qualification
- Educational: Matriculation (10th) pass from any recognized board.
- Age (as on 01.01.26): 18–23 years. Born between 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008.
- Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 yrs, OBC: 3 yrs, ESM: 3 yrs + military deduction.
- Nationality: Indian citizen (Domicile/PRC required for state/UT quota).
- Physical standards: Height (Male 170 cm / Female 157 cm) with category relaxations; chest 80-85 cm (male).
- NCC bonus: ‘C’=5%, ‘B’=3%, ‘A’=2% added to normalized score.
