🎯 Eligibility Criteria (Deputation)
📌 Essential Conditions
- For Deputation: Officers of the Central Government:
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
- With at least 3 years' regular service in Level-1 (Rs.18,000-56,900).
- Educational Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognized board.
- Professional Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Catering.
- Experience: One year experience as helper to Halwai-cum-Cook.
- Candidates must qualify a Trade Skill Test in cooking including maintenance of hygiene.
🎂 Age Limit
Maximum age 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
⏳ Period of Deputation
Initially for a period of 3 years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Total deputation period shall not exceed 3 years including previous deputation.
⚠️ Note
Departmental officials in the direct line of promotion are not eligible. Deputationists will not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
📋 Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Halwai-cum-Cook in preparing snacks/beverages: bonda, butter-toast, dosa, idly, vada, paneer pakoda, samosa, cutlet, etc.
- Assist in preparing meals: chapatti, curd, dal, puri, raita, rice, sabzi, sambar, soup, sweet-dish, salad.
- In absence of Halwai-cum-Cook, prepare snacks and meals independently.
- Any other duty allotted by the Canteen In-charge.

Selection will be through a Trade Skill Test (cooking including hygiene maintenance). The test will assess the candidate's practical skills in preparing various snacks and meals. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the test date.
