💰 Salary, Perks & Contract Terms

💵 Monthly Remuneration

Fixed ₹80,000 per month. Professional Tax and TDS will be deducted as applicable. No other monetary allowance (DA, HRA, etc.) is admissible.

📋 Key Terms & Conditions

  • Contract period: 1 year, extendable based on requirement.
  • Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to work beyond office hours and on weekends if required.
  • Attendance must be marked in the biometric system.
  • Paid leave: 1.5 days per completed month (pro‑rata); leave cannot be accumulated beyond the calendar year.
  • The consultant must carry their own laptop with legal software (no pirated software). Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • The engagement may be terminated by UPSC at any time for performance failure or misconduct, without notice. The consultant must give one month’s notice before resignation, or one month’s salary will be deducted.
  • Covered by the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923; all information handled is property of the Commission.
