🎓 Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/PwBD) in relevant subject.
- Must have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET/AP-SLET/APSET or Ph.D. as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations.
- Ph.D. exemption conditions: regular mode, two external examiners, viva-voce, 2 research publications etc.
- For Management post: First class MBA/PGDM/M.Com with NET/Ph.D. or CA/ICWA with professional experience.
- Relaxation: 5% marks for reserved categories; Ph.D. holders with Master’s before 19.09.1991 get 5% relaxation.
💰 Salary & Benefits
Pay Level 10 (₹57,700 – 1,82,400) as per 7th Pay Commission. Regular post with all allowances (DA, HRA, TA), NPS/CPF, LTC, medical facilities, and academic growth. Promotion to Associate Professor and Professor under UGC regulations. Job security in a state university.
📝 Selection Process
- Written Test (if required): If applicants exceed 12 per vacancy, APPSC conducts CBT (150 MCQs, 180 mins, 30-40% qualifying marks).
- Shortlisting 12:1 based on test marks.
- Screening-cum-Evaluation Committee (SEC) validates academic/research scores (Appendix-I).
- Final shortlisting 4:1 for Interview.
- Interview (100 marks): Lecture demo, domain knowledge, research aptitude.
- Final selection based on Interview marks. Contractual faculty get service weightage.
