- Pay Scales: As per 7th CPC. Range from Level‑7 (₹44,900) to Level‑10 (₹56,100) + NPA (if applicable). Exact scale mentioned in the table.

🔍 Selection Process
Recruitment Type: Direct Recruitment (Permanent). Selection methodology:
1. Shortlisting: Based on the information provided in the online application. The Commission may adopt shortlisting criteria: desirable qualification, higher experience, or a Recruitment Test (RT) if the number of applications is large.
2. Recruitment Test (RT) (if applicable): For some posts, a written examination may be conducted at designated centres. The pattern and syllabus will be intimated separately. Minimum qualifying marks as decided by UPSC.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at UPSC, New Delhi. Minimum suitability: UR‑50, OBC‑45, SC/ST/PwBD‑40 out of 100.
4. Document Verification: Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.
5. Final Merit: Based on performance in RT (if held) and interview. For direct interview cases, only interview marks.
Note: TA/DA for interview will be paid to outstation candidates as per government rules (second/sleeper class fare).
