About the Position
The QuIC lab at RRI is inviting applications for one Research Associate position focused on theoretical challenges in secure quantum communications as part of a mega project under India’s National Quantum Mission (NQM).
This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing quantum protocols, analytical modeling, numerical simulations, and security proofs, working closely with the experimental consortium.
Position Levels & Remuneration

| Research Associate II (RA II) | ₹61,000 + 30% HRA |
| Research Associate III (RA III) | ₹67,000 + 30% HRA |
| PhD thesis submitted (consolidated) | ₹54,600 |
Consumables grant up to ₹2,00,000 per annum will also be provided.

Tenure
Initial appointment of 1 year, extendable up to 3 more years based on performance review.
