Selection Process
- Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Applications are screened for eligibility and completeness.
- Stage 2 – Written Test (if more applicants): Objective/subjective test based on animal science and extension topics.
Pattern: 60-100 Questions, 60-90 min, all discipline-relevant, may include GK, Aptitude, and English.
Marking: Generally 1 mark/question, negative marking may apply. - Stage 3 – Interview: Only shortlisted candidates (after written) or directly (if applications are less) are called for interview. Assess domain knowledge and suitability for SMS post.
- Final selection on total performance (written + interview). Process, weightage and pattern is as per notification and ICAR/host institution rules.
