🎓 About NFSU & Position Type

National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Dharwad Campus, an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is inviting applications for Visiting Faculty positions on a purely need-basis and hourly compensation basis for the Academic Year 2025–26. Financial Literacy Faculty
  • Ph.D. in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field
  • M.Com. with Specialization in Finance or MBA (Finance)
  • Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in qualifying degree
  • Experience in finance, banking, investment advisory or corporate treasury preferred
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investments, personal finance, budgeting and financial planning
Entrepreneurship Faculty
  • Ph.D. in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or Management
  • MBA with specialization in Entrepreneurship or Business Management
  • Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
  • Experience in Industry or Start-Up ecosystem (highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of business plan development, funding, market analysis and venture creation
Engineering Economics & Management Faculty
  • Ph.D. in Economics, Management, Business Administration or Engineering Management
  • MBA / M.Tech with Specialization in Economics and Management
  • Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
  • Experience in project management, cost analysis, resource planning or industrial economics
  • Knowledge of project finance, economic feasibility analysis and engineering project costing

💰 Salary & Compensation Structure

Visiting Faculty positions are remunerated on an hourly or per-lecture basis, not as a fixed monthly salary. Compensation is based on actual teaching hours delivered:

  • Per Lecture Remuneration: Approximately ₹1,500 per lecture (as per UGC Guidelines 2019) [web:48]
