Recruitment Type & Selection Process
Type: Direct Recruitment (Librarian, Deputy Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Physical Education posts, Principals, Medical Superintendent) | Deputation/ Direct for Deputy Finance Officer, Deputy Registrar, Internal Audit Officer, Assistant Registrar.
Selection Stages:
- Shortlisting: Based on qualifications, experience, and if needed, a Written Test (100 marks) to restrict candidates to 1:5 ratio for interview.
- Interview by the Selection Committee.
- Final merit based on interview performance (and written test if conducted).
Candidates may be shortlisted for interview only; not all eligible applicants are called.
Eligibility & Age
Educational: As detailed in table. Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD as per rules.
Age Limit: For Principal posts – minimum 35, maximum 50 years. For others, no specific age mentioned; generally up to 50-55 years as per UGC norms. Age relaxation for AMU employees and as per Govt. rules.
Experience: Calculated as on last date of application (04.03.2026).

Step 5: Send Hard Copy
