About NCRTC & Namo Bharat Project:
National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is implementing the Namo Bharat Project - a new, dedicated, high-speed, rail-based, high-capacity, state-of-the-art commuter service connecting regional nodes in NCR. The project includes three corridors: Delhi-Meerut, Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar, and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal.
Recruitment Type & Selection Process
Type of Recruitment: Contract Appointment
This is a Contract Position on Regular Scale for 5 years (extendable). It is NOT a regular/permanent position, deputation, or walk-in interview.
Selection Process:
Stage 1: Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT)
Weightage: 80% of total marks
Qualifying Marks: Minimum 60%
Venue, date, and time will be notified on the NCRTC website
Stage 2: Shortlisting for Interview
Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 (vacancy: candidates)
Shortlisting based on Written Test/CBT performance
Stage 3: Document Verification
Verification of original certificates before interview
Candidates must carry all original documents
Stage 4: Interview
Weightage: 20% of total marks
Qualifying Marks: Minimum 60%
Final merit list prepared based on combined score (Written Test 80% + Interview 20%)
Important Notes:
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending Written Test/CBT
• Request for change in date/venue will not be entertained
• Candidates appear for Written Test/CBT at their own risk & expenses
Educational Qualification & Eligibility
Essential Qualification (As on 19/01/2026):
B.E./B.Tech (Civil) - Full Time OR
B.Plan (Full Time)
• Must be from UGC recognized Indian University/Deemed University or AICTE approved course
• Only Full Time Regular Courses considered
Preferable Qualification:
- Post-Graduate/Master's in Transport Planning/Transport Engineering or equivalent
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and evaluate transport plans, mobility plans, traffic impact assessments
- Assist in integrated multimodal planning (rail, metro, buses, feeder services, NMT)
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and civil teams for station access planning
- Planning in rail-based public transport systems
- Preparation of detailed project reports for rail-based transit systems
Age Limit & Relaxation (As on 19/01/2026):
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD: 10 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years relaxation
- Cumulative relaxation for multiple categories is admissible
