🔧 Role & Responsibilities of Mechanical Foreman
The Mechanical Foreman will be responsible for:
- Assisting Junior/Senior Mechanical Engineers in installation, fabrication, repairs and maintenance
- Maintenance of various machinery/equipment in Ore-Dressing laboratory and pilot plant
- Supervising subordinates in undertaking all day-to-day technical jobs
- Ensuring smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment
- Commissioning of equipment and troubleshooting technical issues

📌 Service Requirements (Any One)
For Deputation/Short-Term Contract:
Candidates must be officers from Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Autonomous/Statutory Organizations, PSUs, recognized Universities, or Research Institutions who satisfy:
- (a)(i): Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
- (a)(ii): With 6 years regular service in posts in Level-5 (₹29,200-92,300) or equivalent; OR
- (a)(iii): With 10 years regular service in posts in Level-4 (₹25,500-81,100) or equivalent.

⚠️ Important Notes:
- Note-1: Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
- Note-2: Deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
- Note-3: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
- Note-4: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Fill all the details in BLOCK LETTERS in the prescribed bio-data proforma. Include:
- Name and full address (in Block Letters)
- Date of Birth, Date of entry into service, Date of retirement
- Educational qualifications (with subjects and year of passing)
- Complete employment history in chronological order
- Pay scale, Pay Band, Grade Pay details of posts held
- Nature of present employment (Permanent/Temporary/Ad-hoc)
- Details of ACP/MACP benefits drawn, if any
Step 3️⃣: Prepare Required Documents
Arrange the following documents duly attested:
- Bio-data in TRIPLICATE (3 copies)
- Up-to-date Confidential Reports/Dossiers for last 5 years
- Integrity Certificate from the employer
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate
- No Penalty Certificate for preceding 10 years
- Latest salary slip (if not following Central Govt. pay scales)
