Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Deputation: Officers holding analogous posts in Central/State Govt., PSUs, Autonomous Bodies with relevant IT/Systems experience.
- For Absorption: BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE/EEE or MCA from a recognized university, with adequate senior‑level experience.
Experience
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in IT/System implementation (for CPSE/Private sector), including 3 years at senior management.
- Proven track record in large‑scale passenger systems or railway IT projects preferred.
Age Limit (as on 15.06.2026)
- Internal/Railway candidates: Not exceeding 56 years.
- Other candidates: Not exceeding 55 years.
- Age relaxation as per Govt. norms.
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Pay Scale: Level 15 of 7th CPC – ₹1,82,200 – ₹2,24,100 per month plus DA, HRA (24% for Delhi), Transport Allowance, and all applicable perks.
