🎯 Eligibility Criteria
📌 For Scientific Officer / Senior Scientific Assistant / Scientific Assistant
- Eligibility: Officers holding analogous posts in Central/State Govt, Forensic Labs, CBI, CFSL, or autonomous bodies on regular basis.
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Forensic Science / Chemistry / Biology / Physics / Computer Science / Cyber Forensics (as per post) from recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years in forensic analysis / cyber forensics / crime lab (varies by post).
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on 13 June 2026.
- Deputation Tenure: Initially 3 years, extendable up to 5 years.
⭐ Officers from FSL, CFSL, State Forensic Labs, and Central Police Organs are encouraged to apply.
💰 Salary & Perks
- Scientific Officer: Level-11 (₹67,700-2,08,700) + DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Deputation Allowance.
- Senior Scientific Assistant: Level-7 (₹44,900-1,42,400).
- Scientific Assistant: Level-6 (₹35,400-1,12,400).
- Central Government deputation terms with excellent allowances and career growth in premier investigation agency.
✅ Selection Process
Selection: Shortlisting of applications → Deputation committee review → Interview (if required). Deputation on Foreign Service terms.
