The post carries Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The pre-revised pay scale was PB-3 (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600.

Deputation Allowance: Applicable as per Government of India rules. Officers have the option to either draw pay in the parent cadre plus deputation allowance or opt for the pay scale of the borrowing department.
