📚 Educational Qualifications (Essential)
- B.E./B.Tech in ECE/CSE/IT/Information Systems with ≥60% marks OR
- Master's Degree in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics with ≥60% marks.
🎯 Desirable Qualifications (higher degree will reduce experience requirement)
- M.E./M.Tech/PhD in relevant disciplines (Embedded Systems, VLSI, Information Security, etc.)
- PhD in Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Security/Quantum Computing
⏱️ Experience & Age
Experience: 16 years R&D in cryptography/cyber security. For deputation: 4 years in Scientist-E (Level 13).
Age: Direct recruitment – max 50 years; Deputation – max 56 years (as on 06.04.2026).
Recruitment Mode & Selection
Mode: Direct Recruitment OR Deputation (both open). The appointment is contract-based for 5 years (extendable up to superannuation) with 1 year probation.
Selection Process
- Screening of applications by committee (based on qualifications, experience, publications).
- Shortlisted candidates called for Written Test and/or Interview at Chennai.
- Final merit list based on performance.
Outstation candidates called for interview get Second AC train fare (restricted).
