🎓 Educational Qualification (Both Subjects)
- Master's degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/PwBD) in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian University or equivalent.
- Must have cleared: UGC NET / CSIR NET / AP-SLET / AP-SET OR awarded Ph.D. as per UGC 2009/2016 Regulations.
- Ph.D. Exemption Conditions: Regular mode, two external examiners, viva-voce conducted, 2 research papers (1 in refereed journal), 2 conference presentations.
- Foreign Ph.D.: Must be from a top 500 World University (QS/THE/ARWU ranking).
- Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates. Ph.D. holders with Master's prior to 19.09.1991 get 5% relaxation (55% to 50%).

📝 Selection Process (Mandatory Written Test)
⚠️ As per Backlog Recruitment Rules, WRITTEN TEST IS MANDATORY for ALL candidates, regardless of the number of applicants.
- Written Test (APPSC): Computer Based Test (CBT) – 150 MCQs, 180 minutes, 450 total marks. Negative marking: 1 mark per wrong answer. Qualifying marks: 30% for SC/ST/PwBD, 35% for OBC.
- Shortlisting 12:1 based on written test marks (merit-wise).
- Screening-cum-Evaluation Committee (SEC): Validates academic & research scores as per Appendix-I (Max 100: Academic 80 + Research 10 + Experience 10).
- Final Shortlisting 4:1 for Interview based on combined merit.
- Interview (100 marks): Lecture demo (25), Inter-disciplinary awareness (15), Domain knowledge (35), Research competence (25).
- Final Selection: Based solely on Interview performance. Recommended & Waitlist prepared.
