- 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Mathematics and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science.
- Minimum 50% aggregate (relaxable for SC/ST).
- Final year 2026 appearing candidates eligible, subject to proof at enrolment.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders receive additional weightage in merit.

- Maximum: 23 years
- Must be born between 01 Oct 2003 and 31 Mar 2009 (both inclusive).

🏥 Medical & Physical Standards
- Height: 157 cm (relaxation for certain regions on website).
- Chest: Minimum expansion 5 cm.
- Vision: Uncorrected 6/12, corrected 6/6; CP PASS.
- Tattoos only on inner forearm & back of palm; others barred.
- Good physical & mental health; no gender reassignment surgery.
⚖️ Terms & Conditions of Agniveer Service
- Duration: 4 years under Navy Act 1957. Agniveer is a distinct junior‑most rank. Navy not obliged to retain beyond 4 years.
- Leave: 30 days annual leave. Sick leave on medical advice.
- Pay: ₹30,000 (1st yr) → ₹33,000 → ₹36,500 → ₹40,000 (4th yr). In‑hand 70%, 30% contributed to Agniveer Corpus Fund. Govt matches 30%.
- Seva Nidhi: Individual contribution ~₹5.02 Lakh + GoI contribution ₹5.02 Lakh = total ₹10.04 Lakh paid on completion. No pension / gratuity.
- Insurance: Non‑contributory life cover of ₹48 Lakh.
- Death Compensation: Ex‑gratia ₹44 Lakh for attributable death (NOK), plus insurance.
- Disability: ₹44/25/15 Lakh based on 100%/75%/50% disability.
- Enrolment as Regular Sailor: Up to 25% may be offered permanent enrolment after 4 years, based on performance & organizational requirements. No automatic right.
- Release at Own Request: Not permitted; only exceptional cases with competent authority sanction.
- Ex‑Servicemen Status: Agniveers are not eligible for ex‑servicemen status.
- Medical & CSD: Entitled to service hospitals & CSD facilities during engagement.
- Discipline: Subject to Navy Act; liable for discharge as “UNSUITABLE” at any time.

- Stage‑I (INET 2/2026): Computer Based Test (100 questions, 1 mark each, 1 hour). Sections: English & GA, Science, Maths, Diploma (Trade Specific). Penalty 0.25 marks per wrong answer. Bilingual (Hindi/English). Tentatively Aug 2026.
- Stage‑II: Only for shortlisted candidates (state‑wise cut‑off). Includes PFT, Stage‑II Written Exam, Recruitment Medical. Tentatively Oct 2026 for 01/2027 batch.

- Fill Form: Personal & educational details, exam centre preferences. Live webcam photograph will be captured.
- Upload: Recent passport photo (10‑50 KB, with date), signature, 10th/12th marksheets, NCC/Sponsor certificate (if any), caste certificate.
- Fee Payment: ₹550 + GST (Gen/OBC/EWS) online. SC/ST/Women exempted. Fee only for Stage‑I.
- Submit: After successful payment, take printout. A correction window will be provided.
- Admit Card: Download from dashboard ~1 week before INET exam.
