The Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA), New Delhi, invites applications for the position of Research Analyst. This is a contractual position for a term of two years (including a 6-month probation), ideal for professionals with a background in International Relations, Strategic Affairs, or Public Policy.

🎓 Educational Qualifications
- Essential: Master’s Degree with First Division in Social Sciences or allied fields (Public Policy, International Relations, Strategic Affairs, Development Studies).
- Preference: Candidates with M.Phil. or Ph.D. in relevant areas.
🎂 Age Limit
- Maximum Age: Not more than 35 years.
- Cut-off Date: 01 January 2026.
- Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories/PwD as per norms.
📝 Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The selected Research Analyst will be associated with a nominated Centre and will perform the following duties:
- Research Output: Write Book Reviews/Web Commentaries (4 per year), one Issue Brief per year, and one Research Paper/Journal Article per year.
- Data & Reports: Prepare databases, monthly activity reports, and event reports for seminars/roundtables.
- Support: Provide research support via data mining, scanning journals, and bibliography creation.
- Events: Assist in organizing Asian Security Conference, South Asia Conference, etc.
