📖 About Assam University & This Recruitment

Assam University, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor positions in various departments under Employment Notification No. 2/2026. This is a Direct Recruitment for permanent posts, offering UGC pay scales and all benefits of a Central Government teaching job. Selection will be based on academic records, research contributions, and performance in the interview (and/or seminar).

🎯 Eligibility Criteria (Summary)

• Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject + NET/SLET/SET qualified OR Ph.D. in accordance with UGC regulations.
