Technical Examiner (TE)
- Eligibility Central Govt Officers
- Designation Executive Engineer or equivalent
- OR Asst. Exec. Engineer (L10, 4+ yrs)

- Essential Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- From Recognized University/Institute
- Desirable Master's Degree in Engineering
- Also Desirable Bachelor's in Law / Specialized Qualification

Important Conditions
- Note 1 Departmental officers in feeder category in direct line of promotion NOT eligible for deputation
- Note 2 Period of deputation ordinarily not exceeding 3 years
- Vigilance No vigilance cases pending or contemplated
- Clearance Integrity certified with no penalties in 10 years

Deputation Terms & Conditions
- Period: Ordinarily not exceeding 3 years from date of appointment to CVC
- Computation: Period includes any earlier ex-cadre deputation in another organization/department of Central Government
- Extension: Government may extend term beyond 3 years if required, provided within superannuation age of parent organization
- Superannuation: Deputation ceases when officer attains superannuation age in parent organization unless extension granted
- Lien: Officer retains lien in their regular post during entire deputation period
- Pay Fixation: Pay fixed as per Government of India pay scales and allowances rules
- Relief: If selected, officer will be relieved immediately by parent organization
- Continuity: Service rendered on deputation counts towards superannuation and retirement benefits

Application Submission Process
Step 1: Check CVC Website for Notification

Step 2: Download Application Form
- Download the official application format (Annexure-I) from the CVC website

Step 3: Complete Application Form (Part A)

Step 4: Obtain Employer Certification (Part B)
- Submit Part A and relevant documents to your Controlling Authority/Head of Office
- Controlling Authority must verify all particulars from office records
- Employer must certify: "Particulars are true and verified from office records"
- Employer must confirm: "Officer will be relieved immediately if selected"
- Employer must certify: "No vigilance case pending or contemplated, Integrity certified"
- Employer must attach attested copies of ACRs/APARs for last 5 years
- Employer must declare penalty status (last 10 years) - list if any penalties imposed
- Employer must sign, date, and affix official seal on Part B
Step 5: Arrange Supporting Documents
- Attested photocopies of all educational certificates and mark sheets
- Attested photocopies of technical/professional qualifications
- Attested copies of last 5 years' ACR/APAR (Annual Confidential Reports / Annual Performance Appraisal Reports)
- Vigilance clearance certificate from parent organization
- No penalty certificate for last 10 years (or list of any penalties imposed)
- Service certificate showing designation, pay scale, period of service
- Proof of current posting and relieving authority
- Any other testimonials or relevant documents
Step 6: Submit Complete Application
- Compile: Completed Application (Parts A & B), all supporting documents, ACR copies, certificates
- Write clearly on envelope: "Application for the post of [Position Name] – Deputation Basis"
- Submit through proper official channel of your organization (NOT direct individual submission)
- Send to the address specified in the official notification
- Ensure submission within the prescribed deadline
- Keep a copy for your records
- Verify receipt by your forwarding authority

- Deputation Only: This recruitment is ONLY for serving Central Government officers and equivalent State/UT officers. Non-government candidates are NOT eligible.

- Feeder Category: Officers in direct line of promotion from feeder categories are NOT eligible for deputation consideration.
- Vigilance Clearance: MANDATORY: No vigilance case should be pending or contemplated. Integrity must be certified by employer.
- Penalty Statement: Officers must declare any major/minor penalties imposed in last 10 years. False declarations can lead to disqualification.

- Relief: If selected, officer must be relieved immediately by parent organization. This must be confirmed by employer.
