Age Limit

• Maximum Age 40 Years
• As on 25 December 2025 (Cut-off Date)
• Upper Age Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST
• PwBD Relaxation 10 years additional

Age shall be calculated as on the last date of submission of online application (25/12/2025). Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines.

Educational Qualification

• Civil Engineering Bachelor's in Civil Eng
• Electrical/IT/S&T Bachelor's in relevant stream
• Mechanical Bachelor's in Mechanical/Production
• All Disciplines AICTE Recognized / Deemed University

Minimum First Class (60% marks) for General/EWS/Unreserved candidates. Minimum 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates applying against reserved posts. Higher qualifications in same discipline also eligible.

Marks Requirements

• General/EWS 60% (First Class)
• Unreserved Posts 60% marks essential
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD 50% for reserved posts
• CGPA Conversion As per University Formula (Min 6/10 = 60%)

For CGPA without conversion formula: minimum 6 on 10-point scale considered as 60%. Candidates must provide conversion formula from university if certificate doesn't show percentage.

Selection Process

Stages of Selection

• Stage 1 - Written Test (11 January 2026): 125 objective type questions (2.5 hours duration, 1 mark each). No negative marking. Minimum 50% marks for General/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) required to qualify. PwBD candidates get 50 minutes extra time.
• Stage 2 - Personal Interview: Candidates called for interview in ratio of 1:6 to vacancies. Assessment of technical knowledge (30%), personality & communication skills (10%), and professional competency (required to score 60% for General/EWS, 50% for reserved categories).
• Stage 3 - Document Verification: Original documents produced. Experience certificates verified. Any discrepancies lead to rejection.
• Stage 4 - Medical Examination: Successful candidates must pass medical fitness examination as per RITES standards.
• Final Merit: Overall merit based on Written Test (60%) + Interview (40%). No minimum aggregate marks required.

Step 1: Register on RITES Portal

2. Go to Career section and find the recruitment notification
3. Click on "Apply Online" link for your desired position
4. Create a new account or login if already registered

Step 2: Fill Online Application Form

1. Fill all personal details: Full name, DOB, email, phone, address
2. Choose ONE vacancy code (VC No.) for ONE discipline in ONE region only
3. Enter educational qualifications: 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation (as applicable)
4. Provide percentage/CGPA with conversion formula (if applicable)
5. Mention complete work experience with dates, designation, organization, responsibilities
6. Specify category: General/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD (as applicable)
7. Choose two test centers as preference (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bhilai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Lucknow)

1. System generates a Registration Number upon successful submission
2. Note down this Registration Number for all future correspondence
