UPMRC is a 50-50 joint venture of Government of India and Government of UP for implementing and operating Metro Rail in UP cities. For CDA Pay Scales

  • Criterion 1: Executives/Officers working or empaneled in SG (Senior Grade) - Rs 1,23,100 - 2,15,900 (Level 13) Revised OR Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with Grade Pay Rs 8,700 Pre-revised or HIGHER
  • Experience Required: 11 years total service at Gazetted/Executive level, with service in above pay scale in Indian Railways/Metros (including deputation)
  • Criterion 2: Executives/Officers working or empaneled in JAG (Joint Accounting Grade) - Rs 78,800 - 2,09,200 (Level 12) Revised OR Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay Rs 7,600 Pre-revised
  • Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in above pay scale + Total 11 years at Gazetted/Executive level in Indian Railways/Metros

Eligibility Criteria - IDA Pay Scales

For IDA Pay Scales (Metro Companies)

  • Criterion 1: Executives/Officers working or empaneled in Rs 90,000 - 2,40,000 Revised OR Rs 36,600 - 62,000 Pre-revised or HIGHER
  • Experience Required: 11 years total service at Gazetted/Executive level in any Metro company, with service in above pay scale
  • Criterion 2: Executives/Officers working or empaneled in Rs 70,000 - 2,00,000 Revised OR Rs 29,100 - 54,500 Pre-revised
  • Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in above pay scale + Total 11 years at Gazetted/Executive level in any Metro company
Note: Eligibility criterion A (pay scale requirements) OR Eligibility criterion B (experience) - Either one should match for applying on deputation basis

Essential Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from Government recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks
  • Candidates with higher qualifications (Post Graduate, PGDM, etc.) are preferred

Age Limit

  • Maximum 50 years as on date of notification (03 November 2025)
  • Candidates born on or after 03 November 1975 are eligible

Essential Work Experience Required

The candidate must have deep knowledge and post-qualification work experience in following fields:

  • Manpower Management: Handling Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Selection, Training, Skill Development, Competency Leadership mapping
  • Performance & Relations: Performance Management, HR Branding, Employee Relations, Welfare, Industrial Relations
  • Compensation: Wage Revision and Pay Administration expertise
  • Policy Formulation: Formulation of Employee benefit Policies and Procedures
  • Statutory Compliance: Compliance of statutory requirements including Labour Laws, implementation of HR policies, general administration, liaison and protocol
  • Grievance Handling: Grievance Management, RTI, Legal cases in employment/service matters, disciplinary aspects
  • Best Practices: Exposure to latest trends and implementing best HR practices
  • ERP Knowledge: Good working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Important Terms & Conditions

Deputation Basis

  • Normal tenure: 3 years (extendable as per Government norms)
  • Deputation allowance as per Government rules
  • On return, revert to parent organization
  • No surety bond applicable for deputation candidates

Absorption Basis

  • Permanent appointment (until superannuation)
  • Pay Scale: Rs 90,000 - 2,40,000
  • Surety Bond: Rs 3,00,000 (Mandatory) - to serve UPMRC for minimum 3 years + 3 months notice for resignation
  • Probation: 1 year (including training period) after appointment
  • Medical Fitness: Mandatory - Physical & medical fitness required as per norms

General Terms

  • Applicant must be free from DAR (Detailed Antecedents Report) and Vigilance implications
  • All appointees deemed as public servants under UPMRC Conduct, Discipline & Appeal Rules 2017
  • Can be posted at any UPMRC project office/location during tenure

Q1. Can I apply on both Deputation and Absorption basis?

Answer: Yes. You can indicate both preferences in application form. However, preference order should be clearly mentioned.

Q2. Is NOC mandatory at application stage or interview stage?

Answer: NOC is MANDATORY BEFORE INTERVIEW. Submission of NOC is a pre-requisite for participating in interview process.

Q3. What if I don't have 60% marks in Bachelor's degree?
